Description New Zealand famous Paua Shell Half polished and Half natural. These shells are 14 to 15 cm. The shell is natural on in the inside and is polished hand to a high gloss finish on the outside. This shell is half polished and half natural in the shape of the koru (spiral). It is then fully sealed with a clear lacquer to enhance the beautiful colours and provides protection. All Paua Shell are supplied to us by fully licensed commercial divers and are harvested in the South Island of New Zealand. All shells are safe to travel with. Please note each seashell is unique. Colours and patterns will differ with each shell.
